The new camera model works perfectly with current design controls, camera plate and main housing shell. The new D7200 also takes the current cable release issued with the Compac D7100 so the pistol grip trigger works perfectly also. We plan to rename the model for future production runs as the Compac D7200 Sport Housing, which will be marketed as being compatible for both the Nikon D7200 & D7100 models.
